Who’s behind the project?

Waldviertel Tourismus, as a suborganisation of Niederösterreich Werbung, is responsible for the touristic concerns of the Waldviertel region. They not only focus their efforts on holiday guests and excursionists but also on tourism experts like hotel owners, excursion businesses and restaurants. A challenging dual role that the team of Waldviertel tourism masters on a daily basis.

The challenge

The Waldviertel region is a popular destination for school classes and youth groups, offering a corresponding service portfolio . Numerous accommodation options and excursion destinations specialise in the needs and wishes of children and youths. Hence, the task was to communicate the availability of these offers to the outside world. The texts were intended to appeal to the reader but also perform well on Google.

The special nature of the project

What makes these texts stand out is their clear focus on a specific target audience. Instead of couples or families, they address people who organise youth trips: primarily, teachers and accompanying adults. While writing, we asked ourselves the following questions: What does a teacher need to know about an excursion destination? Which information does he or she need to be able to organise the school trip? How can Waldviertel Tourismus support the teachers in managing their organisational challenges? All these questions were answered in the texts – on the basis of detailed keyword research.
